REECH

Biography

Formed in the summer of 2000, REECH have been making a huge impact on the Dublin gigging scene. They have yet to play a gig that does not draw the attention of important music people who happen to be at their shows. From sound engineers, booking agents, promoters and management companies, all have offered their services upon witnessing this visually and dynamically sounding group.

• Fronted by, Aileen Melinn, who was once a member of one of Irelands premier girl groups, she has played Wembley Arena and the Point Depot. As well as a monster work load which involved touring, an album, 4 hit singles, videos and extensive TV work.

• Guitarist Alan White made his live debut at age 15 and has worked within the live circuit ever since, a student of both classical and jazz music. Along with Bass player Brian Vaughan, they first formed what has become REECH.

• various rock and funk bands throughout the 90's, he was one of the first to join the group and is responsible for the introduction of Aileen Melinn to the group.

• Shane McCormack takes on both drums and percussive duties for REECH. The latest addition to the band, he has been playing live since the age of 14 and was involved in one of Dublin's more promising Rock bands in the mid 90's. He has also been lucky enough to study with some of the worlds most talented musicians in the Drumming Education field.

With an average age of 23, the musicians come to today's music scene with almost 10 years experience each already, and have already settled into their Pop/Rock style of music. With numerous radio interviews and the current IMRO Unplugged band of 2000, Reech are set to make their mark on the music industry.
